I absolutely loved the charming decoration of the cottage, it felt like stepping into a cozy English countryside retreat. The beautiful wallpaper and floral curtains gave it such a homely and welcoming atmosphere. The general areas were well-maintained and clean, providing a comfortable space to relax and unwind. As a senior woman, I really appreciated the accessibility of the cottage. The stairs were not too steep and there were handrails for support, making it easier for me to navigate around. It was such a relief to find a place that was accommodating to my needs.
I was grateful for the lovely stay at High View Cottage, but I would have liked to see more assistance offered by the staff for senior guests. Being a senior woman, I sometimes needed a helping hand with my luggage or getting settled in.

I was absolutely charmed by the delightful decor of the cottage, with its quaint and cozy ambiance. It made me feel right at home, like stepping back in time to a simpler era. The general areas were well-maintained, and the garden added a touch of tranquility to my stay. As a senior, I also appreciated the easy accessibility of the hotel, as there were no obstacles or stairs to navigate. It was such a relief to feel safe and comfortable in my surroundings.
I wish there had been more activities specifically tailored for senior guests. Perhaps some gentle exercises or organized outings would have made the vacation even more enjoyable and suitable for us older folks.

Perfect location for a romantic escape in the beautiful Peak District. The cottage was cozy and had all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay. The key safe made check-in hassle-free, and the boot dryers were a great bonus for our hill-walking trips. The local pub, 'Ye Old Nags Head,' offered delicious takeaways, allowing us to enjoy the comfort of the cottage even more.
Although the cottage was adequate, it did not fully meet our expectations. The living area felt a bit dull, and for the price, we expected better value for money.

I absolutely adored the charming decor of High View Cottage. The floral wallpaper and cozy furnishings reminded me of my grandmother's old home, bringing back warm memories and creating a comforting atmosphere. The general areas were well-maintained and provided a lovely space to relax and unwind. , the accessibility of the hotel was excellent for senior people like myself. There were no steps or steep slopes to navigate, making it easy for me to move around without any worries.
I would have appreciated a bit more assistance from the children working there. Although the overall experience was pleasant, it would have been even better if there had been more support and guidance to enhance the vacation for senior people like myself.
